Our own Crofton Middle School students star in one of the greatest and most successful musicals ever filmed. During the transition from silent films to ‘talkies’, everyone has trouble adapting. Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are often cast together as a romantic couple, but when they are forced to jump on the talking picture bandwagon, only Don has the voice for the new singing part. A young studio singer, who has attracted Don’s attention, is hired to record over Lina’s voice. The singing and dancing throughout this production will undeniably leave you impressed with this group of young artists.
